Answers to your questions about working with Destination Stationery

Here are the answers to some Frequently Asked Questions. If you’re unsure about anything at all please just ask and remember the mantra "there's no such thing as a silly question"

How long will my invitations take to create?

Usually between 4 and 5 weeks. That allows around two weeks for the design stage and a further two weeks for production (or three weeks for foil blocked projects). Shipping itself is usually mega quick and can be next day depending on your location in the world.

Is there a minimum quantity I can order?

Yes, generally speaking, the minimum order is 50 and applies to each item. Remember to count couples/families not individuals when you're working out how many you need (maybe add a few extra in case you've forgotten someone). We can occasionally work on smaller orders but it really depends on what you have in mind and the budget you've allowed for stationery. If you're looking for something super special and unique but only need 25 we'd still like you to get in touch, we'll always try to accommodate an exciting project.

Where are you based?

We're based in sunny Hertfordshire which is a county to the north of London in the UK. Let us know if you'd like a quote in a different currency, we ship all around the world free of charge after all!

Do I get to see a printed proof of my order?

We work with PDF digital proofs for speed. By all means, request a sample of a previous design if you want to check out the amazing quality before placing an order. A printed proof of your actual design can be arranged for a small fee if required.

There's an invitation I like but can I change the colours?

Of course! These are your wedding invitations after all so just let us know what you have in mind. Colours, fonts, layout etc can all be changed to suit your every desire at no extra cost. How's that for a personalised service.

I have an idea in mind for my stationery, can you create it for me?

Of course! We love creating unique invitations and stationery. If you have an idea just get in touch and we'll make it a reality.

Are my guest's names printed inside the invites?

Here you've got three options. One, we can design the invitation in such a way as to not include a section for guests names meaning that you would simply address the envelope to your guests instead. Two, we can create a space within the design for you to handwrite your guest's names in once you receive the finished invitations. Three, we can print your guest's names directly into each individual invitation from your supplied list. This option is the only one that incurs an additional charge. Please contact us directly with the details of your order for a specific price.

I've got rubbish handwriting can you print the addresses for me?

No problem, we can certainly get this done for you just let us know how many you need doing etc and we'll quote it for you.
